Amazon‘s Alexa microwave is officially a thing
Finally, our Hot Pocket-related dreams have been answered.
At an event in Seattle on Thursday, officially unveiled its rumored . And yes, you can control it with Alexa.
The AmazonBasics Microwave will cost you $59.99, which is actually quite reasonable for a microwave. It‘s available for pre-order now and will ship later this year. Here‘s the device in action:
Not the smoothest interaction. Still, yelling at a machine to cook you a potato has to be someone‘s dream … right? To make the magic happen, just press the built-in Ask Alexa button. Sadly, you need an Echo device nearby to make it work.
